Description:
SFORZATO est un fabricant japonais de lecteurs réseau / streamers / DAC et Clocks hauts de gamme, tous conçus et fabriqués au Japon. Le DSP-05EX est en deux boîtiers séparés, un pour le streamer et un pour le DAC. La conversion Numérique / Analogique est assurée en format natif (pas d’oversampling) avec prise en charge des formats PCM 32 Bits/768 kHz et DSD512 en mode Gapless ; ils supportent Tidal, Amazon HD et Qobuz, sont Roon ready ainsi que compatibles UPnP/DLNA. 

Sforzato a développé conjointement avec Soulnote l'architecture "Zero Link" (protocole I2S) qui aboutit à ce que l'horloge maître est celle qui régit le DAC ; l'horloge 10 MHz est externe, logée dans un module branché en BNC et alimenté par l’appareil.
Sforzato propose 3 modèles d’horloges externes optionnelles : PMC-07EX, PMC-05EX et enfin la plus précise: PMC-03EX. Notez que chaque horloge est compatible avec tous les DAC, la 07 peut très bien être utilisée avec le DSP-05EX.

Il faut noter plusieurs innovations ou particularités de ce DSP-05EX dans le travail réalisé dans lutte contre le bruit de phase, la qualité des alimentations ainsi que la R&D nécessaire pour le développement de leur propre soft FPGA faisant travailler les puces Sabre ESS ES9038Pro. 

 
Caractéristiques:
■ ZERO LINK
The ZERO LINK eliminate any asynchronous function against D/A conversion from DAC. All the packet (asynchronous) transmission through LAN and USB are handled by the transport and the music data is transferred to DAC synchronized with D/A conversion clock. DAC has to keep rhythm of D/A conversion timing, therefore any asynchronous movement in DAC deteriorate D/A performance. ZERO LINK gives the ultimate data transmission for DAC.
■ Roon Ready
DSP-05EX is Roon Ready device. You can enjoy Roon with the DSP-05EX. In addition, it can be used as UPnP / DLNA network player and also as USB DAC.
■ SFP for LAN
LAN input is not conventional RJ-45 connector but SFP. You can select various type of SFP modules for your LAN environment. Using optical fiber type SFP module, DSP-05EX can be connected via optical fiber LAN. Fiber eliminates electrical connection to noisy computer network. Of course, cupper LAN cable can be used with RJ-45 type SFP module.
■ ES9038Pro for D/A conversion
Twin left and right ES9038Pro are used for D/A conversion. The ESS DAC no longer relies on internal jitter removal, running in perfect sync with signal input. The high-fidelity clock and scrupulously arranged clock wiring and architecture ensure perfectly synchronized, jitter-free audio.
■ External clock
The unit features no internal clock generator and is driven by 10MHz external input. External clock generator (TCXO) with outstanding low phase noise (120dBc/Hz @ 10Hz) comes with the DSP-05EX. If you wish to enjoy still further fidelity, PMC series give perfect performance for the DSP-05EX.
■ Noise suppression
Using a multi-layer circuit board with a wide top/bottom grand plane allows the majority of digital signals to be arrayed within the mid-layers. Heavy shielding reduces noise to the utmost. Clock signals arrayed in balanced style to avoid noise emission.
■ Streaming Service
DSP-05EX supports TIDAL　and Qobuz streaming services. Using dedicated control application software Taktina, you can access streaming services. Taktina is free application and is available for iOS and Android.
